CANNON IV, INC. BECOMES ASP FOR HP DESIGNJET PRINTERS

Supporting the Needs Of Enterprises in the CAD, GIS and Graphics Markets

INDIANAPOLIS, IN -- Cannon IV, an Indianapolis-based distributor of printers, service and supplies, received Authorized Support Provider (ASP) certification by Hewlett-Packard (HP) to support the HP line of Designjet printers. The completion of the training enables Cannon IV to expand its product offering in the CAD, GIS and computer graphics markets.

"The certification allows Cannon IV to better serve our customers who have selected HP Designjet printers for their business needs," explained Cannon IV President Jerry Jones. "With the latest advances in this line, these printers have quickly become one of the most popular selections among IT decision-makers. Cannon IV's enhanced service will ensure that our customers have no downtime."

This includes the recently introduced HP Designjet 120 six-color printing system that is an affordable system that bridges the gap between desktop and oversized printing with the combination of a standard media and a 24-inch paper path for sheet and roll media.

Ongoing service training is an integral part of Cannon IV's business strategy. In fact, Cannon IV's service technicians have received certification for more than 100 lines of printers. As a member of the National Hewlett Packard Advisory Board for HP channel and product planning, Cannon IV is key influencer in HP's development of new channel programs and printer products and services.

"It's important for Cannon IV to not only be able to effectively sell products but also provide the resources to service them," Jones said. "With the Designjet certification, we expand our leadership position in printer service to graphics market."

Cannon IV, Inc., founded in 1974, is headquartered in Indianapolis and is a leading independent provider of printer solutions, services and supplies to schools, government and businesses in the United States.
