CANNON IV AUTHORIZED FOR E&I CONTRACT

CANNON IV SELECTED BY HEWLETT-PACKARD TO PARTICIPATE IN THE EDUCATION AND INSTITUTIONAL COOPERATIVE PURCHASING (E&I) CONTRACT

INDIANAPOLIS, IN (June 29, 2009) – Cannon IV Inc., an Indianapolis-based company with operations in Indiana, Ohio and Texas, that provides imaging and printing solutions, announced that it has been authorized as participating reseller on the Educational and Institutional Cooperative Purchasing (E & I) Cooperative contract for Hewlett-Packard products.

The Educational & Institutional Cooperative Service, Inc. is a not-for-profit buying cooperative established by members of the National Association of Educational Procurement (NAEP) to provide goods and services to members at the best possible value. The Cooperative is owned by its membership of more than 1600 colleges, universities, K-12, hospitals, medical research institutions and hospital purchasing organizations located throughout the United States.

“We are very pleased to have been invited to participate in the E & I Purchasing contract with Hewlett-Packard,” said Jim Fall, Cannon IV Vice President. “The new status recognizes the investment Cannon IV has made to support the needs of our public sector customers.”

For more than 35 years Cannon IV has supported the imaging and printing needs of government and education organizations in Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky, Ohio and Texas. And since 1986 Cannon IV has been an authorized HP reseller, providing solutions built around HP imaging and printing products and services. Cannon IV is a member of the Hewlett-Packard Public Sector Elite program. As a result of Cannon IV’s qualification as a Public Sector Elite member, Cannon IV was selected by Hewlett-Packard to participate in the E & I Cooperative contract.
